Sénégal : 123 communes et villes recevront 130 milliards de FCFA pour réaliser des infrastructures de base (ministre)
Le gouvernement sénégalais va mettre à la disposition de 123 communes et villes du pays 130 milliards de Francs CFA (environ 231 millions de dollars américains) pour leur mettre de réaliser des infrastructures sociales de base dans le cadre du Programme d'appui aux communes et agglomérations du Sénégal (PACASEN), a-t-on appris jeudi de source officielle.
L'annonce a été faite ce jeudi à Pikine, dans la banlieue de Dakar, par le ministre des Collectivités territoriales, du Développement et de l'Aménagement des territoires Oumar Guèye qui procédait au lancement officiel du PACASEN.
"Le PACASEN, qui est mis en oeuvre par l'Agence de développement municipal (ADM) pour un montant de 130 milliards de francs CFA intéresse 123 communes et villes au Sénégal", a-t-il indiqué.
Selon lui, dans le cadre de ce programme, le département de Pikine va recevoir à termes, 17 milliards de Francs CFA pour l'ensemble des 16 communes qui le composent.
"C'est cet appui que le président de la République Macky Sall a décidé de mettre à la disposition des collectivités de ce département", a expliqué le ministre sénégalais.
"C'est un transfert direct de l'Etat du Sénégal vers les collectivités territoriales pour leur permettre de réaliser des infrastructures sociales de base qui impactent positivement sur leurs populations de ces localités", a-t-il ajouté.
